Donations & Fundraising
Turning Leaf Community Support Services is a community based, non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing helpful services to those experiencing intellectual challenge and mental illness. Turning Leaf began in 2006 with the hard work and dedication of caring community members dedicated to providing person-centered supports to those in need.
Generous donations from people like you are essential for all non-profit, charitable organizations. Turning Leaf Community Support Services Inc. strives to provide the best possible care to our participants which is why 100% of all proceeds whether it be an impromptu donation or funds raised through our fundraising events goes towards improving Turning Leaf services.
Examples of some improvements to services are;
- - Educational field trips
- - Facility expansion and improvements (adding showers and laundry facility)
- - Temporary housing for participants in crisis
- - Participant events
- - Educational supplies
- - Participant resource centers and work stations
Throughout the year, Turning Leaf will hold several fundraising events. All of our events will be posted on this website, advertised locally and updated on our Facebook page.

Introducing the Fallen Leaf Fund
2013 is shaping up to be a big year for our organization; we're celebrating our organization's 8th year and would like to continue to develop our presence in the community.
1 in 5 Canadians are affected by mental illness and unfortunately due to social stigma many go undiagnosed. In addition, many individuals find themselves slipping through the cracks of government-assisted funding and are forced to deal with their intellectual disabilities alone. Due to our successes and accessible admissions, we frequently find ourselves approached by individuals who desperately need our help but fail to meet the requirements to receive funding to participate in support programs.
In our pursuit of finding different funding sources, we have created the Fallen Leaf Fund. The Fallen Leaf Fund is an initiative that will provide funding to support these individuals in our community in the same manner that participants with approved funding from Manitoba Family Services and Housing receive.
Please help us continue to help those who are in desperate need of Turning Leaf Community Support Services Inc.
